Isn't the globe holder wrong? I got stuck with one of the later ones but I am not going to drill holes in the top to make it work. Anybody with a real one out there that they want to part with? Cheers, Don.

I don't think re-drilling the holes will help. Yes I know I can just put screws through with wide washers to keep the globe holder in place but I really prefer to make things fit properly the way they were originally intended. Cheers, Don.

Don--That's a tok 39 ring that you have on that 36B top! You'll ruin your sheet metal if you do it that way.

Kevin, thanks for identifying it. I was told that it came off a 36B but as soon as I opened the package I knew it was wrong. I definitely do not want to use it. I will just have to wait until the right ring comes along, hopefully this decade. Cheers, Don.

Thanks for looking but that looks like another 39 ring. It should look like the one pictured below. Cheers, Don

Much appreciated Dick. Now I know what it looks like from the top and bottom. Half the battle is knowing what the missing piece actually looks like so I can recognize it if I ever see one. Cheers, Don.
