Disassembling an air meter to restore(first meter),having trouble removing gear assembly. Have shaft with gear and bushing loose ,not able to get spring off.Adjustment nut is loose.I did purchase the manual,thought id take a break and ask before I broke something.thanks bryan

Did you make sure all the set screws are loose?

Thanks for the help and suggestions.Jack ,I really appreciate the time on the phone.I'm hoping that the spring isnt binding on the stripped adjusting screw.I'll start my search for parts to see if I can get it working .If not it still will look great in my garage.Hope you shake your cold.
