Whats the opinion on the following Gulf globe listed on Ebay?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-19301935-One-Piece-Cast-Gulf-OPC-Gas-Pump-Globe-/370996484541

I realize the Orange seems to be a bit darker than what I've seen on other Gulf globes, but my main concern is the "G" in Gulf doesn't look correct based on the pictures of the Globes on Scott Benjamin's globe CD. Maybe this globe is just from a different globe maker and mold. ??

Its original, just poor repaint. The colors on these globes were glass frit that was sprayed and then fired in a kiln, so there is no way to ever make them look original once that's been scraped off.

Its a common globe. They are at a bunch of shows, and on ebay like every month.
