I recently recieved a checkered flag with the mobilgas flying red horse in the center,it is regulation size,If anyone out there has any information on one please reply,I can't find anything information on it,THANKS

It was most likely a Mobil dealer souviner or advertising "give-away" from back in the '50's or '60's. Mobil used to be the sole supplier of racing gasoline (yes - in those days it was still gasoline) for AAA and, then, USAC races. I grew up 45 miles from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and well remember, every May, seeing those old Offy's and Novi's with that damn red horse stuck on their noses. Being the son of a TEXACO consignee, it really p...ed me off!
