I am at a loss of words right now and don't know what to say but my lifelong friend in this hobby of 40 years, mentor and fellow collector Kyle Moore has passed away. He had been ill for quite a while but was slowly getting better we thought. Kyle had an immense collection which he sold off in 2007, the largest and best this hobby had and will ever see. But Kyle was a great guy, a true human being and would be a great friend to anyone. Goodbye friend, I will deeply miss you Kyle. Thank you for being my friend and a friend to whomever you met. Scott B.

The hobby has lost a true pioneer, and an all around great guy. Our prayers are with his family.

Kyle taught me a lot about this hobby when I started 32 years ago. I knew absolutely nothing about petroliana except that I liked it. He gave me great advise and help and always had patience with newer collectors. A great gentleman who will be missed....

Kyle & his Uncle Bruce Davis, were one of the 1st True Collectors I met when I got started in'78-79. Both were Always friendly & would open doors if they could.
I was Fortunate to see Kyles massive collection many time before it was sold in '07. I know he was working on another & was planning on stopping this year on my way to IG. Should have taken the time last year.
Kyle & Bruce will be missed by many.

Prayers to the Moore family. My father and I have known Kyle since the late 1980's. He was one of the true pioneers.

Back in the 1970's and 1980's there was quite the circle of collectors that circulated with each other in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas.

Collect small Oklahoma Oil Co.'s 1920's-1940's. Barnsdall, Cushing, Eason, Marland, etc.

Disheartening news... My condolences to his Family and Friends...

He is one of many, I had wanted to visit with...

Whatever stopped me at the time? In hindsight wasn't very important after all....
