This guy bought a sign from me in Columbia and used my paypal card reader on my phone. He is now claiming it was an unauthorized transaction.
Paypal has taken the money from me and is waiting on his credit card company to say yes or no to the transaction. I told them it was face to face transaction and he had the merchandise. So if anyone knows him or his location please let me know. Working on plan B if things don't go my way.

This samething happened last year to a friend of mine selling @ Jefferson Wisc. Madison Classics swapmeet.
He was stunned and has since dropped this payment option off his phone.

I sure have not as well Greg but will listen for that name .. There are some Stoverinks in the semo area . Used to be a few business in Jackson mo that used that name as well , long shot but might be worth a check .... thats pretty low. Hope you get things worked out.
I like SINCLAIR and old American made stuff ... No china items.

Hey Greg. Did a quick Facebook check. There is a Tony Stoverink, lives in Saint Peters Missouri. His profile picture has him standing in front of a gas pump, may be the same guy. Says he is married with two kids. If you don't get results with the CCard company, I would Google the phone number of the local law enforcement professionals to clear up this little understanding

If you do a white pages search you can at least get the address, there is a younger Tony and then an older Anthony.

without knowing if it was malacious or just an honest mix-up, or if this even the correct Anthony Stoverink... I didn't want to post the picture for everyone. but Greg, if you find out it was him & was done intentionally and want to advise other vendors, I would recommend posting the photo after you figure that out!

You have to have them sign a receipt if you want any chance with pay-pal. I get their whole name, address and phone number(look at their drivers license) and have them sign for the purchase.
Alot easier to track down also.
