This globe was just on ebay for $449 and didn't get any bids, metal ring, 15" glass. Was that way too much? I thought it might get a few bids.

Thats in the ball park for that globe IMO. Ive got the same globe for sale for 500.00.

I was tempted to jump on it myself but, shipping globes scares the hell outta me !! A lot of horror stories about that here anymore.
