...everyone (myself included) has done it, that's why I looked it up...I knew that someone describing a sappy movie as 'shmaltz' wasn't the same thing as glass beads, so I looked it up...the rendered fat thing I did not know...

Lol! Now that I saw the definition, I remember my Dad ( Austrian )eating that stuff. Although I like many odd dishes,that was one that wasn't for me!
Looking for gas,oil related clocks,especially neon and spinners .clock repair available. Mick
