Hopefully this works. The M&S has a gasket between the sight glass and the metal housing. Not the rubber one which companies sell, but the paper / felt one. Does anyone reproduce these felt gaskets?

I believe they are cork gaskets. You can cut new ones with the pattern you have.

I use a compass like this one listed on ebay to cut all of
my gas pump gaskets. I think they can also be purchased at local art/craft stores. It works great and I just cut new cork
gaskets for a few oil bottle spouts. I also have a set of punches from HF for the small holes.
