I have a new gas pump that I would like to badge out in Red Indian, so I'm looking for an original Red Indian globe. I would appreciate any leads! Thanks--KEVIN

I've had a couple of leads and was able to track down one globe, but it is of the "not for sale" variety, so I'll be looking for a while yet! LOL
Maybe I should spring for a repop, because inevitably, as soon as I get one, several will surface for sale! Isn't that the way it goes??

The first one pictured is the ORIGINAL globe and the second one is a REPRODUCTION globe... it's in the feathers at the bottom..

If you get a chance to hold and see a real one they is big differences . The older process looks very different from the new glass . Because looks wise , on the indian head they are so close , but most repros are dated

I had several sets of repros made by our mutual friend , you know who I'm talking about Dave... he never dated them,, I'm sure they are still in the hobby some where,, and some of the collectors that have them may not even know they are repros by now.. thats always been the problem not dating them, but they are from the 70-80's when dating them wasn't a big deal like today... the feathers at the bottom are an easy tell for them.. real easy.. other than that the newer ones are dated..Anyone out there, before you buy Red Indian globe lenses ask D.Richmond, myself, I'm sure Kim Pyett and lots more Canadian guys..

Hey Kevin I have one but you know its not for sale, I'm out west so I'll try to track one down for you. Dave( redindianguy) got one from me a while ago and I've passed on a few since then, because I had one. I'll see what I can do for you. Ted

Ted--I appreciate the help! I just never run into any here in the US. Its not a frequently traded globe either.
