Man this is a tough sign to find. Too bad it is rougher than a corncob..

That is a nice one , murratic acid would clean it up but not sure I would , it looks great with the stains IMO . You need to add that to your collection Dan ! 1st one I have seen , pretty neat.


I like SINCLAIR and old American made stuff ... No china items.

I was thinking the same thing mark. I think there's a good chance it would clean up a bit

I can't tell if it is hanging on screws or if it is rusted out on the top holes. That's why I said that.

Talked with the owners, super guy btw, and my fears are realized. The top two mounting holes are rusted out but not all the way and have very little meat left.
Seller is on oldgas. He thinks the rust will come off some but hurt the signs gloss.
Sorry... but i like the sign but one thing i have learned is that there is always another. Not going in my collection this week
