Anyone seen a body with this "dip" at bottom before? Original or repop?

Looks like someone used a large wattage light bulb. Heat from the bulb caused the plastic to get soft and gravity caused it to sag like that.

Also, original globes are a little rough on the back side, and repro's have decals.

Isn't there a quote that kind of fits this and other situations that gas globe guy seems to get himself into?

I think it ends something like this "speak out and remove all doubt".

I agree w/ Dave about to big of bulb.
I would replace instead of trying to straighten [place against wall for displaying a globe].

After further inspection, I believe the dip was indeed caused by a hot light bulb. This was sitting on a Fry Mae West that I purchased last week, and from where the light socket was located, it placed the bulb very near base of globe bottom.
