Picked up a 42" Magnolia. Great gloss! Also, early tin wood framed Atlantic Aviation Delco United Motors Battery made right here in my home town Kokomo, IND. And finally, 1913 Polarine Red Crown!

My only purchase last week---This NOS 15 inch AVIO globe from Oslo Steve. I've wanted it ever since he found it, and he finally passed it on. Thanks Steve!

Here is my buy this week. Compared to some of the pumps posted, these are run of the mill, but I am fresh to the hobby and happy to get them and be able to participate in the hobby. I know the bowser is a 575, (not sure how plentiful they are)and the Gilbarco has no plate and I am not sure of the exact model, maybe a 96? I believe it was a standard oil and not sure on the bowser. Tom

...was going to post this yesterday - but, damn John's pumps are a tough act to follow... ...I know it needs some parts, but when I saw it in person, I really liked it...it's very straight; I couldn't believe it still had all of the spears, and both Fire-Chief signs...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Mark--I like it too! Looks like a nice straight survivor. A few parts, clean it up a little, and then leave it as is!

Mark,
1- Is this is a TOK-36?
2- Some came with RESIN top? I have a picture that top is LIT.
3- If #2 is true, which one is more desired: #1 or #2?
Thanks,
Hen

I inquired about this silk screen a few years ago.
Well it was offered to me yesterday. It came out of the Allen Morrison Sign Co. factory, here in Lynchburg after they went out of business back in the 90's. Turns out I had a copy of the sign that it was used to make.
I have a few other screens for Coke and Dr. Pepper and have the signs as well.
I think I am starting to get too abscessed with collecting signs.???

Never thought of Stan.
I have a hand held electric tin snip which works great. Then finish it a little with a jig saw.
I cut the Pontiac sign out as well because the rest was so rotted it detracted from it. I have others that are better.

I was able to make my trip to Canada yesterday. I was North of Nelson. It was a beautiful BLAST till I came back over the border to the U.S.. Most of you guys were dead on with your advise! It was a B/A and Texaco kinda day! I've been wanting some B/A stuff and now I have some! Here is a beautiful background behind my trailer and truck on the ferry. Canadian cans and a HEAVY, B/A oil barrel with seized pumper.

More from Canada... Double sided tin flange Fruitvale is a BC town close to the border and this is from the Chevron station.

A humble sign for my saved signpost. It'll take a little more work but believe it'll show just fine. This is the best side. The other will take some touch-ups to make me happy.
