I finally got the neon installed on my sign I picked up a little while ago. Porcelain front with rounded edges. All 1 piece. Usually I find ones where the curved part is added on. I am very pleased with the outcome. I might have found my new addiction

Sweet!! Now the only problem is I want the one I got at Iowa Gas a number of years back to be done..... Onto the to-do list it goes!!

is that an old sign or newer sign mike? seems strange they would put the hole for neon right in the middle of the G in garage when is could have easily been drilled beside...just curious...thx mm

Sorry for the late response.
That is an old sign.
As a matter of fact, the face is porcelain. Including around the curved edges. I did not restore the rest of the can. I even was able to use to original transformer. and original cord.
I picked it up just south of me from a guy who was going to put the neon on it, but never got around to it. He had several other projects he was working on.
