This is a switchable light socket that I bought some time ago on ebay. It needed repair and I took up the challenge and fixed it and it works fine now.
Does anyone have any idea as to its application?
Anyone ever see one in use?
It is embossed Tokheim on the bottom side, so I naturally figured it must have a gas pump application somehow?

I'm not sure of the application, but it looks explosion-proof so it could have been used on a pump. Maybe it was used at a bulk plant or on a rack. It may not even be petro related, just a hazardous location fixture. Tokheim made so many different things.
