I know most of you are a lot younter than I am (I'm 72) and are up on some of these abbriations you use on your replies. I can type over 80 words a minute on the computer, I can do graphic arts, but I don't know what IMO or LOL or anything else means, please spell it out for us oldtimers. I feel your pain Jack....it confuses me too...and I am almost 30 yrs younger than you..I just go ahead and write it out....'caus I know how to spell them BIG words.
I went to get an eye test...they had some peculiar words there ....like BGLUMP. and GNIXLE....STOCKDALE & WHITLIDGE, SIR !!!!!
OAGQTM....once again giggling quietly to myself.
I even went as far as to break out my LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE DECODER.....kept comming up with....DRINK MORE OVALTINE....then I shot my eye out.
