This type of light was very commonly used on pole signs where the shade faced upward.
The white porcelain is in excellent condition, but has been paint. The paint will come off easily with paint remover. The convex glass is good (that's hard to find), but the weather seal is gone between the band and the shade. Weather striping would work fine. Reflector needs some cleaning and the screw on the band clasp needs replacing.
