It's a tossup as to what I miss the most about living in L.A.- In-N-Out or the Pomona swap meets. California girls were left out of the voting so as not to skew the results.

Another nice score for another nice to deal with OG member.

Great picture. Just add a gas pump and this could be a postcard.

Dave - I have never been to In-N-Out while in California. They bring a mobile kitchen to my town every September for a huge car show and the line ups are unreal. Owner Lynsi Torres was in the news last year for being the youngest female billionaire in the U.S.
They must be doing something right.

If you've never had an in-n-out burger, there's a part of your life left incomplete. You're right about Pomona not being what it once was. I've been going for 20+ years ever since I was a kid walking with my dad through row after row looking for deals. Every now and then stuff pops up, and as far as California girls showing up to the swap......you'd have better luck finding a treasure chest full of gold. Nothing but sea monsters out there.

Oh, I never looked for girls at the swap meet....maybe at the LARS. I think I have fliers back to the 5th or so meet. I know I have a couple of black and whites. I spent summers with my brother when I was in high school in the early and mid 70's hitting all the swap meets and rod runs, even up into Idaho. He was a bachelor and that was his lifestyle. He drove a street rod every day, everywhere. Those were the days, but I wasn't looking for the good stuff, unfortunately.

GREAT haul. This is the first year that Ken and I missed Roy's show in over 28 years. I was on the east coast and Ken is recovering from back surgery.
See you all there next year
