I am in the process of (trying) to restore two G&B 96C pumps. I have the bare frames finished (blasted and powder coated)...but wanted to see if anyone here can help me with some good reference photos. The pumps were some what dis-assembled when I got them, and I am not 100% sure I have all the parts needed.

I did a POTM on this pump. If you send me a PM with your email address I'll send you the file. Richard

Great! thanks!...in particular how is the mounting for the reset handle? I can see the mounting plate for the side that has the nozzle on it...which I do have two of. But I don't seem to have any mounting plates or anything that looks like it would hold/mount the crank handle to?

But I don't seem to have any mounting plates or anything that looks like it would hold/mount the crank handle to? the handle is pinned to the shaft on the outside & there are washers & a cotter pin inside that traps the rod from sliding out of the pump.

Thanks Sellersrodshop...so it does not actually mount to anything, just retained on both sides of the side cover.

yes, the washers/cotterpin on the inside are against a cross brace in the frame, not the outer sheetmetal skin.

Apparently I don't have those...I found a pic online of what they look like, looks like I can just fab up a flat cross brace to replace them.

double checked today & no bracket on the 96c. the washers & cotter pin is against the outer skin.

Thanks for the follow up information!
I wonder if I can fabricate something for additional support of the shaft and reset handle, to give it a nice solid feel...

yes, all you would need to do is add a flat piece of plate between the frame rails with a hole in it for the rod to pass thru. add a couple flt washers & redrill the hole for the cotter pin to the inside of the plate. most of the later pumps were set up like this. guess there was more vandalism in the later years....
