Trying to find the shade of green used on the Tydewater Flying A pumps in the 50'and 60's. Every picture I have found is B&W and all I know it was a light green I think?? if I can get a name that would be a start
Thank You

Bob,
Start by trying your local automotive paint supply store. Ask to look at the fleet colors section of their old (older the better) paint books. You may hve to ask a couple of times, sometimes they keep the real old books under lock and key. These things are like gold.
Good luck,
Ed

Try your PPG dealer for DAR45493 Spring Green in acrylic enamel for that porcelain like look.

I went to my local PPG dealer today and had them mix the color that Gaspower suggested.I put it along side an A-62 porcelain pump I have and it's almost a perfect match. Thanks for the tip Gaspower!I've been looking for some time to find a decent Flying A green....
