Hello Everybody,

A friend of mine purchased this pump last fall at an auction sale and we are just now planning to restore this pump. The pump in the following pic does not have an id tag but has "Bowser - FT Wayne Indiana" in the casting. We are missing the lower skins and the upper skins or casting - not sure which. We would like to see a pic of a complete pump so we can attempt to fab the parts needed. We also would like to know the cut or model number of this pump.

Thanks in advance,

TN Volunteer

The Bowser 107 is actually a pump that I forgot to put in the book. I have the original sales material for the pump showing it in color. I'll try and find it and post it here.
The part on the bottom is simply covert, but the top is a little more detailed.

The Bowser 107 was introduced in 1917. It was given the name "Pacemaker Cut 107." It was generally sold as an "outfit" meaning it was sold with a tank. It pumped two gallons with one stroke of the handle. Here is a picture of it: http://www.crspub.com/gaspumps/bowser_107.htm

Hey Jack,

A special Thanks goes out to you for posting this pic. I greatly appreciate it. I hope my friend can fab something for this pump.
