The guy has had it for many years and was just wondering if anyone knew anything about it. Looks to be a leather bound road atlas? Dating appears to be 1948. I suppose this could also have been a salesman sample display of road maps since each map includes the shell logo and familiar red and gold colors?

hri_2008 Petro Enthusiast H Joined: Dec 2012 Posts: 928 .	I had this in my Shell collection. Sold it last July. Don't think it would be a salesman sample as the maps were always free. I thought maybe they were given to long distance truck drivers.
