Just a photo of a Red Crown Sign that brought a tear to my eye. Someone had to have that metal to patch a hole on something. I'm sure some of you out there have ran across similar great items destroyed for what ever reason. Thanks, Skate

that was a economical way in the day too use scrap for a project & they didn't think anything about it- today it is no longer scrap & a shame at what they did.. cool

cry If you think this is bad, I gotta tell you a story John Huff and I heard on his recent visit here to Arizona. We were following-up on some leads and saw a Mobil Cookie Cutter sign that was rescued from a Landfill. The owner said a picker saw the Bulldozer run over it before he could stop the operator. You could see the cleat marks from the track on the 'dozer across the poor horse. He hopes to restore the sign, but it currently looks like it was "corrugated" if you know what I mean! eek Ed.

That is sad. Sounds like a restoration challenge. At least along with the great story he has the only "corugated" Pegasus known to exist. Thanks for the story. Skate
