The Drop of Oil books shows about 5 different versions of this basic can with some very subtle differences in the label and a larger 1/2 pint version. In one of the listing it calls it circa 1920's. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them date back into the teens. But that is only my opinion.
I have the same one as you only saying (Indiana) under the lower Standard logo in the yellow area. What does your say there?
I would think in my case with the Indiana designation that it must date at least later than the 1911 break up of Standard oil. I dont believe this Indiana designation would have existed prior to the break up but I could be wrong on that. Again, what does your say there?
I agree the graphics are cool!! I have both the small one and the larger 1/2 pint. Both Indiana.
