Neal:
Chris is right. I got Some plastic polish and the wheel that goes with it when I bought my buffer. I used the compound and wheel to polish out some serious scratches on the plastic windows on an old Duncan-Miller Parking Meter I'm redoing.
I startred with some wet-or-dry 400 to remove the surface scratches and the majority of the deep scratches - then just went to town with the compound.
The only thing you have to watch for is to make sure that you use a very light touch. Otherwise, you take the chance of melting the plastic and making a divot in it.
If your bodies are just 'dull' and a regular soap-n-water cleaning won't bring them back - try a little fine automotive polishing compound and see if that works. I've had good luck doing that.

Maguires also sells a 'Clear Plastic Cleaner', a 'Clear Plastic Polish' & 'Clear Plastic Detailer'. You can ususlly get them at a decent automotive parts store that would carry a lot of wax products. Or you can find them on the web. they work for very light scratches - but won't do much for any major problems.
Hope this helps.
