Picked this up in an auction and was very excited to get it as I have never had one before. The paint has got to be very early and faces are original with an uncracked visi gauge. I think it is pretty cool. Does anybody know what the differences with the 950 from the 850 are? Just curious why they would make another model in the middle of the 850 run?

Kinda funny, I have a round 950 and I never bothered to find out what the difference is- other than the visi. The skins are kinda glued on with old paint. Yours looks like it spent lots of its life indoors-nice. Pretty heavy beast-No?

My understanding is they are the same external pump with the internal pump being different.Higher volume pump unit in one versus the other. Not 100% sure on that!Nice looking pump by the way! Hope you all have a great week.Mark

950's were the end of the run. Also made w/ a Rectangle base [not as deep as it is wide].

DB why does the book list 850's from 1930-1939 and states 950's 1932-1935? Smaller Visi and the clock unit is identical to that of my 36DP clockface ones. The 950's lower skins are also a bit shorter.
