I have been helping out a young local collector and I spotted a decent buy on eBay for him. The young collector won the auction, and paid for it. The seller shipped it, and when it arrived at the young collector's post office the seller had it redirected to another address.
Is there anything this young collector can do? I have never had this happen to me.
Here is the listing number.

Thanks for your help!

I've had good luck with zero feedback sellers....
I just hate seeing a new collector get burned like this. I know he's not out anything, but it's the principle.

So, Noah I'm taking for granted; that the conversation you had with the Seller was not "fruitful"?
Or were you even able to contact the Seller?

HHhhmmmm??? Help me out here---I have never ever heard of a package being addressed to address #1 and then redirected to a different address before it got delivered! I always thought that once it was in the hands of the USPS, it went where addressed? How is something like this done?

My understanding of redirection of a parcel is when it is undeliverable as addressed. If it is of size and weight, the sender is contacted for a new destination or correction of address rather than returning. if it is small it is returned as undeliverable. Unless it has been delivered and was not successful, the sender would not be contacted. Now in this case it sounds like new instructions were sent ahead of the package and the post office was doing as told by sender. Either way the sender/seller is responsible for the item.
