I listed an Indian motorcycle oil can on ebay, some guy writes and says its not real he says they did not spell motorcycle correctly on the real ones.I had it checked from a very reputable auctioneer and he says its the real deal, its the orange and red one.It is not going for the money I got in it. How do you tell on these?

Yours is real. Indian spelled it "Motocycle" notice no "R" pre 1929. The can you listed is mid-late 1940's.

Agreed, I remember I was also thrown for a loop with authenticity of one once. The mispell vs no mispell is just different era's, but this is correct.
