Can anyone lead me in the direction of where to find general information (vintage , value photographs, etc) about a Bennett Model 2756. The gas pump was for regular leaded fuel and originally at a Sinclair station. I would like to do a light restoration to and and I was wondering where to get parts, decals etc..?

The pump appears to be 99 % complete.

Any information would be helpful.

Hi Dodge Main,
Bennett made a variety of straight side, flat top gas pumps in the 2000 model series in 1958-1962. The number you have is not shown in the book, An Illustrated Guide to Gas Pumps by Jack Sim. There are not a lot of reproduction new parts made for this era of pumps. Your best bet is to find old parts off of a junk pump someone may have. You may post a message on Shop Talk with your specific needs. A picture is essential for identification.

Click "Parts" at the top of this page for decals, globes and related items.

As Jim said, it is probably part of the 2000 series of pumps.
Chances are I have some brochure of information on the pump, home in St. Louis. I am presently in Alabama, where my bother is very ill. I'll look up the pump when I get home and let you know what I have. I'll also be able to tell you when the pump was made.

Thanks for the information. I'n new to this stuff and I have a lot to learn. What do the decls look like? My pump was repainted red with a Fire Chief logo. However, I can see that there is green below the red. I can also rear Sinclaire on the display panel in front of the light.

I was not able to find www.sinclair.com

Does anyone have any photographs to share or can a site be recommended where I can see a pump like mine?

There is a gas pump pictured on the following page from Sinclair Oil's site that looks like a Bennett 2000 series pump.
