saw this the other night & in the back of my mind, it looks familiar, but cant for the life of me remember where i've seen one before.

To me, it looks like a finial for a large iron entry gate... Somewhat like these wooden ones....

i thought it was your old beer canteen! thing should hold at least a 12 pack. i keep wanting to think i've seen one on a fancy, cast street light pole, but in reality, cant remember what i had for lunch today....
