took a drive to pickup an item about an hour from me, and the wife spotted this down a side road... I've probably passed by it 20+ times, looks like I'm teaching her well to be my spotter! Was neat to see it still in its original setting. Talked to the neighbors, not for sale unfortunately.

Very cool to see all that like you said, in it's original home. Would be cool to see vintage pics of that building.

Time stands still! Cool to see whole building restored.

While running thru Wisconsin picking up goodies, we stopped to get gas but the mega station was too crowded for a truck and trailer so we went around the corner and found a BP station (used to be 66) still providing full service and non pay at the pump gas! Talked to the owner of the oil company next door and he loves doing business the old personal way. Someone from Tennessee came by about 10 years ago and bought up all his old pumps though.
Note how small the restroom doors are outside the building. The owner and I had a good laugh on how someday someone won't fit thru them and the "Man" will make him put bigger door openings in.

Thanks
Mike

That Buick sign was on American Pickers..they stopped there at one of the buildings in an earlier episode. It was next to the Chevy sign.

while i dont watch the show much, that doesnt surprise me... as I heard one they were in town a couple years ago and did a whole episode. their hometown is only about 90-miles from me, so they could've known about these signs from before the show biz

The building with the Buick & Chevrolet sign is cool. Amazing that the owners have not been talked out of them by buyers with crazy offers.

I'm glad to hear it's not for sale some signs are just meant to be left in their natural setting. They look awesome, very happy to hear the picker numbskulls didn't get them.

Mike: That BP station looks like it could have been an old Texaco station too with the Matawan style building based on the rock work....

Neat display.....hopefully the owner takes some of the collection inside each night, as I see a few items I wouldn't want in the sun/elements.

Found a few things yesterday while on a fishing trip into Wyoming, I would love to see the Rustic Resort Neon working with the rainbow trout lit up must have been pretty cool in it's day.
