I am doing "the Happy Dance"...(good thing no one is around, as no one should have to see a fat man, do the happy dance!)

A little while ago, I won a can. A can, I have been wanting... lusting over (can one lust after an Oil can?) ... crying over; every time I lost one of them at auction.... For more than a decade...

A can that won't fit in db's re-lidding machine....

It is a little beat up, that is true! ... But, so am I... And I am not near as old as this WWII era can... And I got it for the opening bid price.... So as they say in the World Cup....

GO............................................................................AL

Thanks Guys!

For, a few years now; I have been working on trying to collect 1 example of every can and bottle of the different products that Veedol had during their tan Flying V logo years of the 1940s...

So far, I have the oil bottle, the handy oil bottle and cans from the U.S., Canada and Europe... And now the WWII cardboard can...

Oh yes, I also have mechanical pencils... Including a couple floaties...

I am a lost cause! Good thing I am already, divorced. Because, I keep adding more "junk"... LOL

Nice can, made even better by the fact that you got it for the opening bid. Display looks great!

Bob,
How do you know what the answer to that question even is. In other words, how will you know if or when you have them all?? I ask cuz I've wondered the same thing for Sunoco.

BTW, cool pickup on the cardboard can!!
