Alex: Here is my take on the decal. I used a 'White' "T" Texaco Logo and the 'Old' style Ethyl logo. The overall size came out to be 12" wide by 21.5" tall. Everything is 'Vector' art - so re-sizing the decal, or any part of the decal, is no problem. Let me know if you need anything changed. Later . . . Jim

Jim, Alex will probably back me up here. I believe it should be a BlackT. Fire-Chief came out in 1932, WhiteT started being phased in around 1936-37... First porcelain pump plate was a whiteT 1940. JMTC

Forgot to say your artwork looks great !!!
Doc, I don't understand putting the word sample in the artwork ? I mean it's all there if you were to copy it... It's not like a photograph. Do you mean put the work sample in like hat where all the detail is ???

T-Way: WOW......looks great.
Doug is right, I think it should be a black T and definitely put sample on that or it will be all over the internet. What do the rest of you guys think? I need a set 12X 18 on the magnetic material. Thansk for your efforts
Will call you.

Wouldn't it be longer ? Just my take on it, from old photographs. It looks like just the fire-chief sign was 12 X 18 ? Then they would ad the Ethyl. Am I wrong ???

DOC: I could have put the word SAMPLE on the art - but I figure if someone is desperate enough to steal my artwork instead of paying for a couple of decals . . . --------- Doug: Thanks for the suggestion on the 'Black' "T". I'm not an expert on Texaco and the reference photo on page 1 is real crappy - so I guessed. No problem to convert it to a 'Black' "T" for the final output though. --------------------------- FYR (For Your Reference) - I've probably got about 5+ hours into this art. The Ethyl logo was done earlier, as was the Texaco logo and Fire-Chief art. There's probably 3.5 hours total there. Then I had to lay out the decal, manipulate the pieces to get the proportions to look correct - and recreate the artwork for the 'hat'. Fortunately, I have a porcelain pump plate with the hat/Texaco logo on it - so that gave me their relationship - and reference to 'draw' the hat in the computer. That took 2 hours+. As usual - no art charge to the customer. Now the art is available to anyone that wants decals - just give us a call. Later . . . Jim

I have been trying to get Gary to make a gas pump globe for me for over a year now. No luck! Maybe he just forgot about me?
