See "Who are You?" post for the "real" Professor Bennett scalping tops off of 36b's!
Great guy to know and live near. First met Dick at Roy Reeds gas bash several years ago and he invited me and my brother to tour his extensive collection on the way home. He has helped me many times since and all I can say is Thanks A Million (or is it Five Thousand?)!

DB was the first person I met when I started collecting. He lives only 20 minutes from me. MANY years ago he took me to meet my good friend Richlube and that's when it all started. Dick has been a good friend and a fountain of information over the years. Once he got over his tantrums if one of us found something in his backyard, that would be Ventura County, he turned out to be just fine. Dick does have a great collection. Ray

Dick has contributed a wealth of knowledge to our community over the years, a little at a time for a lot of people. He has amazed me by identifying a pile of rusty plumbing fittings as belonging to a specific obscure model gas pump. He upsets people occasionally by being brutally honest. Just the way he is. No sugar coat, just the straight story as he sees it.
Thanks, Dick, for helping so many people with answers. It is this kind of sharing that is the basis of a successful online community.

Dick has earned the nickname The Professor. I doubt there is a person more knowledgeable about vintage gas pumps than Dick. The best part is he shares that knowledge with the rest of us.
Wanted: Gas pump globes:Sinclair & affiliates, IL companies. Ripple bodies. Anything Sinclair, Stoll, Pierce, 4 Bros. http://www.lastgas15.com/
