I am looking for anyone who has any knowledge about Alemite Motor Oil Collectibles. I recently purchased an antique Alemite Motor Oil Pump/Dispensing Oil Tank. On the front of the tank it has a porcelin sign that reads, "Alemite Motor Oil." The pump still has the serial number metal plate attached. The dispensing tank also has the word "Alemite" embossed at the bottom of the metal tank.

I did not pay a great deal for it. I am in the process of restoring it because it is a neat piece. I would appreciate any information that anyone may have regarding this particular piece. The information can be anything from the circa year to the overall value of something like this. It may not be worth anything, but I just thought it was a cool piece.

Thanks

I have probably 200 Alemite parts sheets (this company made a ton of items), but without a serial number I cannot look anything up. A picture would also be appreciated.

Thanks Jack!! I really appreciate your response. I am a new member to this site. I have the Alemite piece over at my parents house as I am in the process of restoring it. I am currently in the process of stripping the paint because it was starting to come off. I will do my best to get the serial number. I do know that the one number within the serial number is very difficult to make out because it is worn off. I will take a picture tomorrow and also get the number. I will be in touch with you. Again, I really appreciate your honest response.

Take Care and God-Bless
