I have all my old road maps in a drawer and would like to display them in some manner. How do the rest of you do it?
Are there some ring binder sleeves available for maps, and where do you find them?
I have too many to frame and hang on the wall, so I need an alternative??

If you decide on binder sleeves this company might have something that fits. I buy movie poster products from them.
The site is overwhelming.

I put my maps in a plastic map bag and fold the top over and tack or nail it to the wall through the plastic and put them in the windows of my pumps. Most of my pumps in the garage have maps in them.

Kevin, I have a selection of my Marathon maps in a frame showing a variety over the years. Not all inclusive and doesnt' show all the map, but I get a lot of nice comments on it. (used a map for the backgroud, held in place by pressure against the glass)
I have never found a binder page that holds them with two verticle compartments just horizontal.

What I have seen people do.... (what were they thinking) is use double sided tape to hold them in place in a plain binder sleeve. UGH!!!!

Most of the RMCA people use the vertically divided sleeves in a binder. Make sure you get a plastic which won't lift off the ink. The box should say 'ink won't stick or lift.' Mylar won't do this.

Personally, I scan my favorites and file the originals away.

Kevin, I use what I believe you are looking for:

The first batch I received from Paddy and the second batch, I found either on ebay or at Office Depot (sorry can't remember)...

As the images show, there are 2 pockets. The pockets are vertical and can easily handle most (if not all) folded maps whether tri-fold, bi-fold or multi-fold... I use mine for maps and large ink blotters, in the 3 ring binders that I store my "excess" items....

The brand name on the sleeves is: "Collector Safe" and they are marked "Premium"....
