correct me if I am wrong cause that's quite possible. there was a 40s version and a 50s version I think I've seen. is the reflective possible the earlier version? I've seen several of "real" ones that weren't reflective. I am 95% sure this isn't a repop, I am confident in where it came from - wish I had an expert to look at it lol. more concerned about the paint. need to figure out what to do with it.
btw the different hands above were just some other pictures for reference, not of the one I have.

Never came across a real one myself that was not reflective . They were made to sit in the street . Most bases have holes in them for wheels to roll in and out of the roadway. I an not saying the one in question is not real but it has been touched up at some time because of the painted bolts.

I've had a few of these and have seen a lot of them. Never seen a Canadian one with painted screws. BTW they came both ways reflective and non reflective as well as several different styles on the back panel.

Another great sign that has had its value damaged by the unknown reproductions!

I have one from 54. Mine has seen a lot of sun so the paint is oxidized and dull but you can tell it is/was reflective. The screws on mine are original for this sign and are Phillips with a bolt on the back. The outline of the cop in front is black and on the backside it is red, like the coke button. If you would like pictures I would be happy to email some to you
