At last years Iowa Gas auction a six foot Washington Chief sign in nice shape was sold for $11,600. Good luck!

WELL I WENT AND LOOKED AT THE SIGN. IT IS NOT IN #8 CONDITION, CLOSER TO 5 OR 6. THE GUY WAS NOT SURE HOW TO JUDGE THE CONDITION. ANYWAY, IT'S A NEAT SIGN. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE BEFORE.. HE SAID HE'LL THINK ABOUT THE OFFER I MADE HIM [$600.00.} HE HAS TO WAIT FOR SOME FAMILY TO MOVE AWAY BEFORE HE CAN SELL IT..

Tell him 600.00 plus you will help them move, sounds like a good sign. A few years back there was a Washington Chief at an antique store (in WASH state) and you could see it from the Highway, it was about a 7.5 or 8 and they wanted 700 or 750 for it, should woulda didnt grab it..... still kickin myself !!! COL. I would think that the Washington one is a little more in demand than the Idaho version. If you get it Keep It , you probably only get one chance, I know I used mine up!! .......................
