I was in the same boat as you a few years ago.....clueless about vintage marbles! I joined a marble forum and found some members of the forum who lived close to me and luckily they helped me identify ones I had that were of value and I sold them subsequently. Good luck.
Looking for early valvoline, freedom-valvoline, franklin pa items, Galena

Marbles are one of the toughest collectibles I've ever done, unlike petro guys collectors of these are "fanatical" hahaha lol. I have several collector books and they are okay for identification but not much help on value, between handmades, sulphides, clay, akro's, corkscrew's, oxbloods, marblekings, cat eyes, etc, etc, etc, you then have different price levels for color, different color combinations and of course the "condition scale" which is mind boggling, way to serous for me so I gave up & like most things I just started picking up what I liked ! lol

Wish I could tell you value but without fondling them I can't really be any help ..... it's hard to tell what you have in the blue jar, I can tell you that the old clay marbles (as cool as they are) don't bring that much, I probably have 3-4 thousand of them in different sizes & colors and I can't get a buck a piece....so I just fill everything with them and enjoy lol ! gum ball machines, glass rolling pins, jars, bottles, etc, etc.
The fuzzy pic above (2nd one) jar next to the robot has some amazing marbles in it, 15 years ago I was able to dig the old Marbleking dump site and dug literally 100k marbles in about a four hour period, one of the funnest times I ever had, I was literally in marble heaven, that jar is full of hybrid bumblebee's, rubybee's, girlscouts, boyscouts, wasps, dragonflies & even 7 or 8 really rare watermelons ! The funny thing is that these were dumped because they didn't meet production standards but are now considered hybrids and are very collectable. Believe it or not, I would say that jar is worth 2-3k in the marble world.

Very nice. I like the idea of what you did with all them. Here are some pics of the small glass full.
