Looking for any information on a Wayne Model 29 gas pump. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated. I am looking to restore to original condition.
The Company tag on the skin reads as follows:
Wayne Company Boyle – Dayton Division Los Angeles, USA
Model 29
Serial No. B6530K8
Major items I think I need are: Top, hose, and pump handle.

Justin, In the original brouchers that I have on the Boyle Dayton/Wayne Company, it does not show a #29. It does have a #79 & #89 VIZO visible pump though. Please check the model # again. A picture speaks better than a 1,000 words. Dick

A big correction on the model # of this pump. It is a Model #79 Not #29.

I spoke with a guy at Hershey last week who needed some parts for the same model! I'll try and dig up the info and see if I can help you both out. Ron

Justin, If your wanting to put a globe on top, I would use a WAYNE 515/615 Bonnet/top.
The lever that goes thru the plate [inside the door] is for filling the cylinder useing air. Some of these pumps had the hand pump as a backup when you lost your air supply.
When you close the door, all gas in the cylinder is returned to the underground tank. That stopped anyone from stealing gas when you closed up for the night.
