Just starting to collect some of the old gas and oil stuff that catches my eye when I see it. Came across this can the other day and had to have it to sit next to my pump. Anyone know much about it, era?, worth?. Where else , besides this forum, can one research this type of info. Thanks guys.

Search ebay Completed Auctions to see what similar condition cans are selling for.

Sorry I posted in wrong section. Was trying to get more info than just a number on it. Thanks oilcanman for dating it for me. Might help me narrow down the Google searches.
As far as EBay, the only similar cans I found said "outboard" below the MobilOil and appeared to be shorter. Maybe knowing the year will help with this as well. Thanks again guys.

Most of this style 5 gallon cans have a date embossed on the bottom, possibly only two digits, such as "67" for the year.
