oops sorry! I am still new with postings. It is a 15" and only one lens. It looks good from the front but the back looks aged. I would appreciate any help, Thank You. [This message has been edited by woodysr (edited 09-10-2007).]

Hi, I can tell you this much. That thing is really rare!!! It was used on the pumps that Pep Boys had in the 1920's on the East coast.I have a few pictures of them but I know quite a few Pep collectors and they have only seen photos of them. I am sure the price is out of my reach, but if your going to sell it find a high end gas and oil auction to sell it, I am sure you will be able to buy a new car when it ends maybe a Hummer? Thanks fo showing the pic.

Erik Don't know if you will look back at this post, but you probably will to salivate over that globe, so look at the "Pep" Korode Kure can at the bottom of this pile and let me know if it's a Pep Boys brand can. Thanks Curt

I agree the lens is VERY RARE, BUT, the best I would hope for would be a Used 5yr old Hummer.

I'm sure Erik would buy it for that price so "Let's Make a Deal".
Any chance Utah Refining Company distributed fuel to the Pep Boys Service Stations???
Thanks for the info on the can Erik!

OUCH! I hope Woodysr read all the posts and not just the first few before he went out to celebrate. I think I would get 5th or 6th opinion. What page of the book is it in?
Wanted: Original Jenney Gas, Husky, Marathon, and Frontier Globes

It's a Utah Oil Refining Company globe that was part of Standard oil company. It had nothing to do with PEP boys.
I don't think anyone has seen a globe from Pep boys... anyone have one?
Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.

Before i collected globes i found a fry visible with that globe on it in Mc Call Idaho. the guy wanted $2000 for the whole thing and i had to pass. that was about 10 or 12 years ago and i think it was over priced at the time but right now i would take it!....Les
