Been thinking of selling off our old 36" double sided sign similar to the #140164450630 item that was recently on ebay with a few differences of course... and "NO" this sign is not going on ebay next week LOL! Although one cant control what they do with it. If we do actually decide to part with this sign would like it to go to a primarily petrolina member collector... not reseller.
Our sign is dated earlier at AM 3-50 not... AM 10-57 or 60 etc. Plus we also have the original heavy black metal surround that it fits in [not like the smaller 33" swinging styles] including the special approx 7-8 foot black pole it came with. This sign appears to have never been hung or installed outside, although it has a couple of small marks on one side only. Like they say... as with any vintage item there may be imperfections from age or normal display, storage, creating process or whatever but thats about it. The Pennsylvania chap we got if from said the brown protective paper covering was still stuck to it they got it.
The big question gentlemen is... based on and considering the above, I ask... what do you believe would be a reasonable dollar amount with a donation to primarily petrolina of course.

Will assume we are both talking about the same ebay item #140164450630. Its finished but didnt sell. Was bid up to $454 by 16 bidders. Unfortunately it didnt sell as they never met the sellers reserve.

You most likely right Sully, in that its not porcelean... only painted steel. Will have to take a closer look tomorrow. Have changed my previous post to reflect that.

Took another look. A little closer this time. Sully you are correct, it is in fact... painted.

Also if anyone has any interest or thoughts... would still like some input into value of this sign complete with mounting surround and special pole as described above.
