Hey everyone.
I'm considering buying a Wayne 60 widebody from a friend. It's just a repainted shell. It has no base, no globe adapter and no globe. I own a home built in the 1940's and the garage ceiling height is well...depends where you measure. The highest I've found is 95 inches. His shell measures about 6 feet .5".
Was hoping a proud fully restored Wayne 60 owner might be willing to grab a tape measure and give me a completed height readout. If you could also measure the height of the pump itself (top of base to top of pump where globe adapter attaches) that would also be much appreciated. Just to confirm he has a full shell and not one where a rusty bottom was all just hacked off. He never bought this to restore. It's just a decoration for his business.
Thanks in advance to whoever replies.

I'll get a chance to open her up myself one day soon and look. Just hoping for a little early confirmation.

I am finishing two of them right now. Looks like 6'4" +/-. Not counting the globe or globe holder etc.

Always looking for more pumps, meters and signs.
Some say it is a problem, I say it is a solution

Thank you Scott. Gaspump heaven sells a repro base and their diagram lists it at 3.5" high. Assuming that repro is basically identical to the original and adding the 6'.5" I measure on his adds up to what you have. Whew! That's a relief. Now I just need to crack her open and make sure the rails actually have that tabs needed to bolt that thing to the base.
Appreciate it.
