This makes me mad to see people selling repo signs with a private auction for bidders. It is a shame some one is going to get taken. Do you think if enough people complain to ebay that they might do something? Here is a link to the signs. repo signs

I won't bid on Private auctions.
I've sent lots of emails to high bidders on repo signs being sold as orignals. I also send the link to gaspumpheaven, vicsplace and time passage.
I think some bidders don't want a Retracted bid attached to their profile.

It seems like to me that sometimes people even get hostile if you try and warn them off of an obvious fake like you are questioning their intelligence or something. I was at a live auction a few years ago and saw a repop 12" McDonald's hamburger sign go up to $480. I told one guy who was bidding next to me that I had the same signs for $15 he basically told me to stick it!!!! He ended up owning it!!!

You have to be aware of these rip off artists on ebay. One of them, using three different ebay names, is pogogas, who also goes by going-going_gone and ez-plans. He uses private auctions exlusively, and uses the Canadian trick called hide and screw. be aware! Ebay should be responsible for his actions and stop his scam.
