Hello,

Wondered if anyone had any history on this company and what a rough estimate would be on the value?

I've been doing quite a bit of research, but I'm not able to find another like it...only able to find the shield shaped Bay signs.

It's a two-sided 72" porcelain sign, both sides are same condition. It just has some porcelain missing along the left-hand edge as shown in the picture.

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

I don't know sign values but it is from the Bay Refining Co.of Bay City, Michigan founded in 1939. Bay was bought out by Dow Chemical in 1956. The refinery was closed down in the mid-1970's but the brand continued to be used into the 1990's by Spartan Oil & possibly other companies.
Bay was the 3rd largest Michigan refinery in 1948.
