I agree get one side restored and keep it. Value as is is none in my opinion other than the "Family" value. Scott B.

The guys are all correct! No real value, but as something owned by your grandfather, it should be preserved for family ownership. Either leave it "as is", or do as suggested and restore one side, so future generations might see what your grandfather had seen in the sign!
