ALWAYS tougher to sell restored pumps than unrestored. My humble belief is those pumps would sell about 8k for the pair if restored well and put up for auction. I don't think you'd come near 12k. Just my two cents.

Right venue, right price. Let's see them done and then where they will sell. BJ for sure would get a good price, but try to get into that arena. Would like to see them done.

I talked to Barrett-Jackson, and he told me that restored pumps Must go across the auction block. When I asked how come one particular vendor sold out of the tent area, he said he was one of the original vendors who was "grandfathered" in. Only repro stuff is allowed to be sold off the auction block.
