Anyone know the reason behind the switch from a 1 piece hinge to a 2 piece? Cracked a hinge today and all I can find are 1 piece hinges. Also wondering if there is any difference in dimension between a 1 piece and 2? I'm thinking they are interchangeable and can be used in combination. Thanks.

For the most part they are interchangeable. The one piece will not fit on some short 39's because of the nozzle receiver will not let the door open and close. Just use a two piece on that particular hinge and you should be OK. Richard

Figured there had to be a reason. Thanks for the input.
