Just got this Root Gasoline sign this morning. I have searched the web and didn't come up with too much info. The globe cd list a Root refining corporation out of Little Rock Ark that marketed ethyl gasoline under the Red Chief Brand. Not sure if this is the same company or not. How rare is this sign? I have never seen one and web search doesn't pull one up either. Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks Bobby

...I have seen this Root sign before, just can't remember where...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Looks like the one I used to own. Can't remember who I sold it to. At the time they put it in PCM as a new discovery and one of the few marketing pieces from that company known to exist. Very rare indeed!

Back side of ours. This one was found under a house here in Mississippi. Man I got it from moved houses for a living years ago.

Can you find the square root? I'm not an expert on signs, but I have looked at many thousands and have never run across one in photo nor life.
